JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- Reece Hampton hit a two-run triple in the second inning, leading the Lakeland Flying Tigers to a 9-6 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads in the first game of a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The triple by Hampton, part of a three-run inning, gave the Flying Tigers a 3-1 lead before Hampton scored on a wild pitch later in the inning.

The Flying Tigers later added a run in the third and four in the fourth. In the third, Brady Policelli scored on a forceout, while Ulrich Bojarski hit a two-run double in the fourth.

Jared Tobey (1-0) got the win in relief while Jupiter starter Will Stewart (5-11) took the loss in the Florida State League game.

Lazaro Alonso homered and singled twice, driving home three runs and scoring a couple for the Hammerheads. Nick Fortes homered and singled, driving in two runs.
