Monache High School girls water polo beat Golden West 12-8 for their eighth straight win in Wednesday's non-league game at home.
The Marauders (8-1) were led in scoring by Ava LoBue with four goals. Tracy McCoy finished with three goals, Nevaeh Moncibaiz had two, Kalina Weaver had two and Claire Schrein had one goal with four assists.
Stats weren't available for Infinity Dignam in the cage, but head coach Kyla Conway said Dignam “made some crucial blocks in the fourth”.

Hally Flynn had 12 serving points, two aces, six kills and eight digs. Tia Jules had six kills, two blocks and two digs. Kailyn Castle had eight kills, three digs and one ace. Ashlynn Baxter had five digs, four kills and four aces.
Porterville volleyball are on a four-game win streak after beating Corcoran 3-0 in a non-league game Wednesday on the road. The Panthers won the sets 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.
This is the team's second win in as many days, coming on the tails of a 3-2 win at Hanford West on Tuesday. Porterville lost the first set (26-24) and the fourth (25-15), but won the second (25-17), third (25-22) and fifth (15-12).
Against the Huskies, setter Jaci Patterson had 31 assists, four aces and two kills. Libero Kaila Keovilaysane had 19 digs and two aces. Victoria Dabney led the team with nine kills while Avery Wingfield had eight and Analy Medrano had seven. Medrano and Davina Lopez had the team's only block. Cienna Enriquez had three aces. Jazlyn Felix had nine digs and Nseije Ortiz had eight.
