It was a full house on Monday morning in the Farmersville City Council Chambers, where officials from across the state gathered to host a town hall meeting specifically focused on the affordable housing crisis currently facing the Central Valley.

The meeting began with Arturo Rodriguez, Poplar’s community services district president, who introduced himself and Ruben Macareno, a Council member for the City of Farmersville. The two men acted as facilitators for the meeting and read questions specifically targeted for the individual panel members.
