Sierra Care at the Lake will hold a grand opening at noon on Saturday.
The facility is a 24-hour congregate-living health facility featuring one-on-one personalized nursing and rehabilitative treatments for patients suffering from spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular conditions, congenital conditions or other complex injuries.
According to a press release, California’s Central Valley is severely under-served for long-term patient care, a problem Sierra Care at the Lake is intended to directly address.
The facility is located at 33221 Globe Drive No. A in Springville.
The new 4,500-square foot, state-of-the-art medical facility provides areas for social activities, quiet leisure, and family visits for up to 12 residents. The eight private rooms and two double rooms have been decorated to create a cozy, home-like environment.
The facility is situated on 30-acres with a private lake and breath-taking views of the Sierra Mountains.
Care is managed by a team of professionals, including physicians, nurses, a registered dietitian, a pharmacist, a social worker and an activity coordinator.
