Five Tulare County Sheriff’s Office employees were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty on Wednesday by Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux.
The five employees recognized were:
Lt. Harold Liles and Sgt. Bobby Saldana were recognized for implementing a youth sports program in Tulare County, including a successful free NFL Flag Football League involving 250 boys and girls this past spring.
Deputy Kyle Stark was recognized for helping a couple from out of the area who were traveling with their disabled son in Three Rivers when their vehicle repeatedly broke down causing a difficult situation for the family.
Sgt. Mark Fricks was recognized for outstanding performance in the Narcotics Unit, handling more than 40 cases in the first six months of his assignment in the unit and assisting with all marijuana operations and details.
Cpl. Karyse Sandoval was recognized for leading the team that developed the curriculum for the CORE Academy, which teaches law enforcement skills as it applies to detentions for new correctional deputies.
