Four people were killed in a crash in Strathmore early Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol says.

The crash happened at Avenue 196 and Highway 65 just after 2 a.m. Sunday. CHP stated a 24-year-old Jazmine Paramo was heading northbound in the southbound lane of Highway 65 carshed head-on into two motorcyles.

CHP stated the motorcycle riders, two men and two women in their 40s, died at the scene.

Paramo was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with moderate injuries. CHP also stated she has been booked into Tulare County Jail for suspicion of DUI.
