Last week, we left Dr. Lorraine Day lying on the floor breathing her last, praying, and committing to do everything her healthy cells needed to get stronger.

If her healthy cells got strong enough, they could take over the “Big-Ugly” that was growing on her breast bone. Her focus on Nutrition and Exercise were only two of the ten things she committed to do every day.

The third thing was drink half her body weight in ounces of Water. She took the number of pounds her body weighed, divided it by two and drank that many ounces of water a day. She drank distilled water because it helps detoxify her cells. Healthy cells like to be clean.

Next, she got Full-Spectrum Sunlight into her eyes for about two hours a day. She didn’t look at the sun; she went outside without sunglasses, glasses or contact lenses and stayed in the shade. She let the natural light into her eyes. Full-spectrum light is a full nutritional meal for the hypothalamus gland; the master gland that controls all the hormone messages in the body. She eliminated the artificial lighting in her environment.

Then she steered clear of Toxicity; all the poisonous things we’re exposed too. Foods with chemicals and food additives were removed from her diet even when she became well enough to eat foods other than vegetable juice.

She took deep breaths of fresh Air. The air we breathe in the mountains, after a rain, or near a waterfall is filled with negative ions. These are health-producing particles that have the opposite effect of smog, smoke, or stagnant, indoor air.

Rest was the seventh thing she did for her healthy cells.

She went to sleep by 10 p.m .and rested her mind from worries, drama, and loud music, etc. It’s good to completely rest one full day a week. Spend this day being one with nature, observing creation, getting away from the need to text, play video games, be on the computer and phone or listen to the radio, etc. When we lie down and do nothing for hours, we rest our liver. It’s the most important organ we can strengthen to gain and maintain our health and longevity. Dr. Day rested her liver.

The next three things involved her thoughts and belief system. She developed a strong Trust in her body’s ability to heal itself. All she had to do was give it the living enzyme tools and nutrients it needed to get the job done.

Her total plan was one that naturally eliminated the causes of all disease while building health into her cells.

She maintained an Attitude of Gratitude. While being grateful for the truth she had, she saw the beauty in everything and kept her focus there. Most of us have strong tendencies to think and talk about our problems. We criticize ourselves or others and listen to bad news that comes to us even in something as “harmless”, we think, as the news and weather report.

The tenth thing was Benevolence. She described it as “finding someone in your same circumstance and help them get out of it. For example, if you’re depressed, find another depressed person and cheer them up.” What she did was find other people with Big-Ugly diseases and give them hope. Most of us find someone in our same circumstance and swap stories about the problems we have in common. We wallow together in our misery and end up making it worse for both of us.

The first letter of each thing she did spells NEWSTART-AB. After eight months, the Big-Ugly in her body was gone. After ten more months, all her cells had returned to perfect health where she remains today. She continues to eat a wide variety of non-GMO foods as they are grown.

What she accomplished in her body metabolically was switching her healthy cells from burning sugar to burning fat. She trained her cells to burn fat until they produced a low level of ketones. Cancer cells cannot switch out of sugar-burning. Her healthy, fat burning, keto-adapted cells took over and destroyed the sugar-burners. She nourished her body while starving the cells that could not switch to fat-burning.
