Local wrestlers Matt Gamble of Monache High School and Mason Pengilly of Porterville High School who are both ranked No. 1 in the state in their respective weight classes.
Porterville Police Department for offering its training to schools to help them to be prepared in case a shooter shows up on campus.
Charles and Judy Keen for being treated special when they attended President Barack Obama’s second inauguration.
Jordyn Zorn, a Monache cross country standout, who was named to the Fresno Bee’s All-Valley girls cross country team.
Lt. Gary Hunt who has been named to head the Tulare County Sheriff’s Porterville substation.
Ryan Garfield who was hired by the Lindsay Public Safety Department under the program to give military veterans jobs in law enforcement.
Third grader Ricky Carrillo who received a letter from President Obama after he had written the president.
Granite Hills High School alumnus Bear Pascoe who signed on for another season with the New York Giants.
Lindsay High School football player Chris Misaalefua who was named to the All-State Division III First Team by Max-preps. Misaalefua will be a senior lineman next year.
The organizers of the very successful Man Alive Christian conference last weekend.
Porterville High Wrestler Javier Jimenez who was named Outstanding Lower Weight wrestler at the Dick Comly Invitational at Victor Valley High School.
