The Woodville Union School District has a special board meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday in the cafeteria at Woodville Elementary, 16563 Road 168.

A public disclosure, and approval, of the Woodville Teachers Association Salary Settlement Agreement’s proposed change in compensation is listed as a public hearing item.

Also on the agenda is a move for the approval of the districts’s budget revision for the 2012-2013 school year.

In addition, the Board will interview potential candidates and nominee applicants to serve on the board of trustees.

As of Tuesday, only one applicant — Lorena Espinoza — had expressed interest in the position, school officials said. But the board will accept verbal or written public input regarding potential candidates or nominees. Once appointed, the term is for four years, ending Dec. 2, 2016.

An action item to approve the appointment of the appointed board of trustee member is also on the agenda, with the oath of office slated for administration during the December organizational meeting.
