Copper wire stolen from Tipton man

TULARE Ă‚— A South County man was the victim of agricultural theft on Christmas eve when someone stole copper wire from a water pumper.

Tulare County SheriffĂ‚’s Department deputies were sent to the area of Avenue 184, one mile west of Road 96, in Tulare at 3:42 p.m. to investigate. There, Mike Van der Poel of Tipton reportedly said someone stole $500 worth of copper wire from the pumper.

It was unknown when the theft occurred.
