Crime blotter 3/2/13
Information below is provided to The Recorder by the Porterville Police Department. It is noted that only arrests are reported and the suspects have not been found guilty of any crime.
Saturday, March 2
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
Officers responded to the 1500 block of North Lowery Street regarding a subject who was in the back yard acting strangely. Josh Villalvazo, 35, was contacted and was under the influence of a controlled substance. Villalvazo had scattered clothing all over the back yard stating it was how he did his laundry. He was booked at the substation for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Warrant Arrest
Officers investigated a verbal disturbance at a residence in the 1700 block of West Kanai Avenue. Amy Graziano, 27, was contacted and was arrested for two arrest warrants. She was booked at the substation.
Domestic Battery
Officers responded to the 2300 block of West Orange Avenue regarding the report of a domestic dispute. Paul Hauk, 39, was reported to be intoxicated and causing a disturbance with his wife. Hauk was contacted within the residence and he was extremely intoxicated, uncooperative and belligerent. It was reported that Hauk shoved his wife and held her briefly against her will. Hauk was arrested for domestic battery and he was booked and housed at the Porterville Substation.
Possession of Methamphetamine
Officers contacted Gary West, 36, during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West Henderson Avenue. West was in possession of methamphetamine as well as vicodin pills. West was arrested and later booked into the TCSD Porterville Substation.
Warrant Arrest
Officers contacted Randall Dillahunty, 44, in the area of Third Street north of Morton Avenue. Dillahunty had three warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and later booked at the TCSD Porterville Substation.
