Crime Blotter 03/04/13

Information below is provided to The Recorder by the Porterville Police Department. It is noted that only arrests are reported and the suspects have not been found guilty of any crime.

Monday, March 4
Hit and Run Traffic Collision with Injuries
Officers were dispatched to Plano Street and Olive Avenue regarding a hit-and-run accident with injuries. The victim was contacted and stated he was riding his bike on the sidewalk, turning into the Vallarta Market, when he was struck by a red GMC extended cab pickup truck. The victim said the pickup truck ran over his leg and the driver then fled the scene. The victim declined medical treatment, and only suffered from minor injuries to the leg.

Felony Warrant
Officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of West Mulberry Avenue to serve a felony warrant for Nicolette Fairchild, 31. Officers located Fairchild at the residence, and she was booked at Bob Wiley Detention Facility.
