Missouri man jailed for alleged drug use in Pixley

PIXLEY — A man from out of state was arrested early Friday morning after authorities found him to be allegedly under the influence of drugs.

Forty-year-old Michael Murphy, a resident of Ekland, Mo., was arrested at 12:50 a.m. on the 200 block of East Terra Bella Avenue, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reports.

He was booked into the Main Jail.
