Two men were arrested Friday, after narcotics officers served a search warrant on a car and its occupants.

Suspects Carlos Aispuro, 23, and Arturo Hernandez, 33, were allegedly determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a controlled substance, respectively.

Tulare County narcotics officers teamed up at 4:30p.m. to serve the search warrant in the area of 2nd Street and Olive Avenue.

Personnel from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Narcotic Division and the Inter-Agency Narcotic Enforcement Team assisted in the arrests.

Aispuro was booked on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance; Hernandez was booked on suspicion of  possessing a small amount of methamphetamine.

Both men were subsequently booked into the sheriff’s Porterville substation.
