Woodville man assaulted with baseball bat

WOODVILLE — A man was assaulted this week with a baseball bat.
Avelino Ramirez, 26, said he knows the assailant the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reports.
The attack occurred at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at an undisclosed location. Ramirez was taken to a hospital, treated and released.
The suspect is at large.
