Man arrested during disturbance

THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

At 2 a.m. Sunday, Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Orange Drive and Leggett Street regarding a disturbance.

According to a Tulare County Sheriff’s news release, a suspect, Romero Ramirez, found at the location and searched,

Ramirez was reportedly found to have a fixed straight blade knife concealed in his waistband and a small plastic bundle containing methamphetamine.

Ramirez was arrested and booked on suspicion of being possession of narcotics and possession of a dangerous weapon
