Man allegedly tries to choke woman in Tipton
Outcome: Woman denies medical attention for minor injuries.

TIPTON — A Tipton woman called the Tulare County Sheriff's Department at 1:45 p.m. Sunday to report that she was choked by a man at a home in the 13500 block of Avenue 168 in Tipton.
The 22-year-old woman reportedly told deputies that Samuel Hernandez, 36, also pushed her down, causing minor injuries, but she denied any medical attention.
The case is under investigation by the Sheriff's Department.
