TIPTON — A man was allegedly shot at Monday night, promoting an investigation into the shooting.

Juan Sanchez, 22, reportedly told Tulare County Sheriff’s Department deputies that someone he didn’t know shot at him with a gun, damaging his vehicle and other property.

The alleged assault with the deadly weapon took place at about 10:25 p.m. in the 100 block of North Thompson Road.

Sanchez was not harmed in the shooting.
