Deputies search for suspect in alleged abuse incident

THREE RIVERS — A man allegedly punched his wife during an argument and then fled the scene, authorities report.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 8 p.m. Saturday to the Three Rivers area to investigate a possible incident of domestic violence.

The incident reportedly occurred just before 5:30 p.m. May 19.

The victim, whose name was not released, she and her husband argued, during which time he allegedly punched her three times, the Sheriff’s Department reports. She reportedly suffered minor injuries, and did not require medical aid.

The suspect fled the area on foot just prior to the arrival of deputies. They searched the area, but were unable to find him.

His name was not released.
