THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

Suspects remain outstanding after reports of a shot fired on the 700 block of South Maple in Pixley.

Deputies responded to reports of a possible gunshot at 1:23 a.m. and discovered that the suspects had vandalized a personal residence and fled the scene.

As the suspects re-entered their vehicle to flee, deputies determined that they fired a single gunshot into the air before leaving. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the case.

The subjects, if caught, will face charges of negligent discharge of a firearm.
