THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

TERRA BELLA — Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies were called Wednesday to a confidential residence in Terra Bella to investigate a suspected child molestation.

Deputies met with representatives from Child Welfare Services who said a report had been received that a minor child had possibly been molested by her father sometime between 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and 10 a.m. Saturday, while the child was visiting him, the Sheriff's Department reports.

The child was no longer with the suspect at the time the report was filed, but was with the mother at a separate residence.

Authorities did not release the name of the suspect.

The case is being investigated.
