Cache of grape stakes stolen from area vineyard

RICHGROVE — A Sanger farm management company lost more than $3,000 in vineyard items mid-week to theft here in the South County.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies responded at 8 a.m. Wednesday to the area of Avenue 24 and Road 184 northwest of Richgrove to investigate.

A representative of DiBuduo Land Management said someone stole wooden grape stakes from a vineyard sometime between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Department reports.

The loss was estimated at $3,362.
