SCICON open house Sunday
The outdoor School of Science and Conservation above Springville — will host an open house from 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday for sixth grade students and their families.
The school, operated by the Tulare County Office of Education, is visited by sixth-grade students from throughout Tulare County. The campus offers the sixth graders cabins, nature hikes, a museum of natural history, a planetarium, a raptor center and educational activities.
The open house allows students and families the opportunity to visit the campus, located seven miles northeast of Springville, prior to the student’s week-long visit.
