The roll bar on the tractor has been shortened to allow easier entry into fruit groves. The tractor also has a yellow single axle duster attached to it.

The theft occurred in the area of Avenue 24 and Road 156 in Delano. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 733-6261 and refer to case number 09-13191.

The sheriff’s office is reminding people to be mindful of where they park their tractors and where they store the keys to their tractors.

In addition, five incidents took place in Pixley between Oct. 2 and Oct. 17, including the theft of various farm equipment from along Avenue 144: several metal items from the 11200 block; a John Deere Model 6300 near the intersection of Avenue 8; various items from the 16800 block; several metals items from the 11220 block. Three work vehicles, tools and CB radios were also taken from 10990 Angiola Dr.
