Nancy Burgess

Nancy H. Burgess, a resident of Santa Clara, died there Thursday, May 29, 2003. She was 56.

A Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Porterville. Interment will take place at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Burgess was a native of Porterville and a resident of Santa Clara. She was a nurses assistant for Kaiser Hospital for 30 years. She loved to dance to various music.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Chavez of Santa Clara; her stepfather, John Chavez of Santa Clara; her daughter, Alicia Medina of Citrus Heights; her sister, Pamela Wicher of San Jose; two brothers, Paul Lomeli of Porterville and Phillip Lomeli of Santa Clara; and three grandchildren.

Ms. Burgess was preceded in death by her father, Paul Henry Lomeli.
