Rodney Carrington to appear at Eagle Mountain Casino
Multitalented stand-up comedian, actor and writer, Rodney Carrington will appear at 8 p.m. on Oct. 20 at Eagle Mountain Casino.
Rodney has recorded eight major record label comedy albums selling over 3 million copies.
Two of these albums have been certified gold or platinum by the RIAA. His comedy act typically combines stand-up comedy and original songs. Carrington starred in his own TV sitcom Rodney, which ran for two seasons on ABC. He also co-wrote and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film “Beer for My Horses”.
Rodney’s discography starts with “Hangin’ With Rodney 1998”. The next few years saw six more top 10 CD: “Live”, “Morning Wood”, “Nutsack”, “Greatest Hits”, and “King of the Mountains”, and the newest one, “El Nino Loco”, all of which continue to receive major radio airplay and a place on the national comedy charts.
The Carrington Family formed a Foundation in May of 2010 to benefit those who need a helping hand. The Rodney Carrington Foundation is actively evaluating opportunities to support several local and national charities which help strengthen the lives of others.
