Information below is provided to The Recorder by the Porterville Police Department. It is noted that only arrests are reported and the suspects have not been found guilty of any crime.

Warrant Arrest
Officers responded to the 1700 block of West Memory Lane regarding felony arrest warrant service. Officers contacted Brett Lee, 22, and served the felony warrant for his arrest. He was booked at TCSO Substation.
Residential Burglary
Officers responded to the 500 block of North Balmayne Street regarding a residential burglary report. The victim said she left the residence for work and when she returned she found that someone forced the rear door open. Cash and jewelry were taken.
Auto Theft
Officers responded to the 300 block of East Olive Avenue regarding a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that their 2000 Chevy truck had been stolen. The case remains under investigation.
Auto Theft
Officers responded to the 2100 block of West Tomah Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle, trailer and quad. The victim stated that over the night someone had taken a Chevy Silverado, a trailer and a Polaris Quad. The case remains under investigation.
Attempted Vehicle Burglary
Officers responded to the 1600 block of West River Avenue regarding an attempted vehicle burglary. The victim stated that sometime during the night a subject tried to pry open the driver’s door.
