2 men arrested in illegal-drug bust
Case: Several law enforcement agencies assisted.
EXETER — After serving a narcotics search warrant Tuesday morning, Tulare County Sheriff’s Department narcotics officers found a pound of marijuana and six grams of crystal methamphetamine in the 400 block of North Quince Street.
Nearly $1,500 in cash was seized.
Assisted by the Exeter Police Department, Southern Tri-County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area team and the SheriffÂ’s Tactical Enforcement Personnel team, officers arrested Rafael Ramirez, 20, and Rosa Maria Flores, 28.
The two were booked into the Tulare County Main Jail.
Ramirez is being held for suspicion of possession and possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of more than a pound of marijuana for sale and possession of cocaine and heroin, a felony offense.
Flores was booked for suspicion of maintaining a residence for the purpose of narcotics sales and use, possession of marijuana for sale and child endangerment.
Three minor children found in the home at the time of the search were referred to Child Protective Services, according to SheriffÂ’s Department news release.
