Reservations being taken for chamber banquet

PORTERVILLE

Residents can reserve a spot now at Porterville’s Annual Celebration of Business and Community on Saturday, Nov. 3, when the Porterville Chamber honors deserving individuals, businesses, projects, and students.  

The Chamber’s accomplishments in its 105th year of operation will be highlighted during the event, which introduces the 2013 Board of Directors and program of work.

The specific honors to be awarded for the evening include Man and Woman of the Year, Small and Large Business of the Year, Community Service Project of the Year, Male and Female Youth of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.  

The banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Building. The deadline for reservations is Oct. 24. Reservations are $45 per person with table sponsorships available.
