Porterville College to hold Health Fair Wednesday

The public is invited to attend Porterville College’s annual Health Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the quad area at Porterville College, 100 E. College Avenue.

The event will feature access to various community health information.

Flu shots will be available for $9, along with Hepatitis B shots for $33.

In addition, a mobile blood bank will be on campus for anyone desiring to donate blood.

The driving force behind the event is PC Nurse Marlis Brownfield and the Porterville College Wellness Center.

Information about ongoing programs and upcoming health career classes will also be available.
