Bells Across America Sunday at First Congregational

Bells Across America is set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Congregational Church corner of Mill and Fourth in Porterville. The event signals the start of Constitution Week Sept. 17-23. Everyone is invited to attend.

Special features include the Porterville Community Bell Choir, the Boy Scout Troop 132 presentation of the flags that have flown over our country, the Porterville Community Strings, and a special tribute commemorating the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 and the writing of the “Star Spangled Banner.”
