Man injured in rural collision Tuesday

PORTERVILLE

Serjio Perez, 20 of Porterville, was taken to Kaweah Delta Regional Medical Center with major injuries after the car he was driving collided with a 1994 Ford pickup driven by Jose Gomez, 24 of Porterville.

The collision occurred at Avenue 160 and Road 192 at just after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the CHP, Perez pulled out in front of Gomez.
