Sierra Estates subdivision in Porterville nearly sold out

Sales are nearly complete at Sierra Estates in Porterville by K. Hovnanian Homes. A company spokesman said the community has logged 11 sales since the start of the year, leaving just three homes available including the community’s last model home.  Special pricing has been assigned to all three homes and more than $115,000 in designer upgrades are included with the remaining Whitney model home.

The Whitney features six bedrooms, a loft, three-and-a-half baths and a three-car garage.  The 3,039 square foot home includes a long list of designer options including upgraded carpet, a ceramic tile gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, cherry kitchen cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath.  The home features premium GE appliances including a stainless steel refrigerator and built-in double wall ovens.  The backyard is fully landscaped with a patio and pergola adding shade for relaxing outdoors.  The fully upgraded Whitney model is available for just $280,590 and will be ready for a May move-in.

In addition to the model home, construction is underway on the last two new homes at Sierra Estates, which are planned to be complete and ready for move-in by April.  The two homes are the 2,190 square foot Quinn plan featuring three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, available for just $185,490, and the 2,532 square foot, four bedroom, three bath Irvine plan, which has been reduced to just $200,470.  Both homes include two-car garages, open kitchens adjoining the living rooms and views of the foothills.  K. Hovnanian Homes has boosted broker cooperation to 10 percent for the remaining homes at Sierra Estates.

The community is located in a foothill setting just east of Highway 99 in Tulare County, within close proximity to recreational destinations such as Lake Success and the Sequoia National Park.
