Recruiting under way for leadership class

THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

Leadership Porterville is recruiting candidates for participation in the class of 2008.

The purpose of the class is to enable potential and emerging community leaders to positively impact Porterville and the surrounding area as interested and informed residents.

The program works to inspire active and effective involvement through the confidence, skills and knowledge gained by participation.

The program takes 11 months and focuses on the various topics impacting Porterville and the surrounding area.

Applications are available at the Chamber Office or online at http://www.chamber.porterville.com.

The deadline to submit applications is Oct. 15. For more information, please call the Porterville Chamber of Commerce at 784-7502.
