Crime Blotter 09/18/12
Information below is provided to The Recorder by the Porterville Police Department. It is noted that only arrests are reported and the suspects have not been found guilty of any crime.

Warrant Arrests
Officers contacted Stella Tannenbaum, 39, and Mary Tannenbaum, 69, in the lobby of the police department. Both females turned themselves in for outstanding warrants regarding an insurance fraud investigation that was conducted by The Tulare County Reduce Auto Theft Task Force. Both females were issued a citation with an agreement to appear in court and released from the police department.
Public Intoxication / Resist
Arrest
Officers were dispatched to the Vientiene Market regarding an unwanted subject who was harassing customers outside the business. Upon arrival, officers contacted Harden Zagala, 43, in front of the business. Zagala was intoxicated and non-compliant with officers’ orders and instructions. As officers took Zagala into custody he began physically resisting arrest. Zagala was taken into custody and later booked into the TCSO Porterville Substation.
Auto Theft
Officers responded to the 1400 block of West Tomah Avenue regarding an auto theft report. The reporting party stated the suspect(s) stole a Chrysler PT Cruiser sometime in the last four days from outside his sister’s residence. The report will be forwarded to Special Enforcement Team for further investigation.
Burglary
Officers responded to Motel 6 regarding a burglary report. The victim reported that two cell phones and his wallet containing $400 in cash were taken from his room. It was later determined that Agustin Villanueva had gone to the front desk requesting a key for the victim’s room. Villanueva went into the victim’s room while he was gone and stole the property. Villanueva was booked at PPD and later transported to TCSO for housing.
Warrant Arrest
Officers contacted Gabriel Marquez, 38, during a traffic stop at Henderson Avenue at Villa Street. He was determined to have a warrant for his arrest and was booked at PPD.
Burglary
Officers responded to Food 4 Less regarding a shoplifting report. The suspect, Devin Tyler, 22, was detained by store employees for taking store merchandise. He was booked at PPD and later transported to TCSO.
Resist Arrest
Officers attempted to contact suspect Aaron Isgrigg, 26, during a traffic stop for a bicycle violation. Isgrigg was uncooperative and failed to stop; however, he was eventually arrested. He was booked at PPD and later transported to TCSO.
Burglary / Vandalism
Officers responded to the 1000 block of North Wilson Place regarding a burglary report. The suspects vandalized ceiling fans, light fixtures and doors inside the residence and the damage was estimated at approximately $7,000.
Warrant Arrest
Officers contacted Jermain Sanders, 25, at Burger King during an unwanted subject call. He was determined to be a wanted parolee and was taken into custody. He was transported to TCSO.
