Pixley woman loses nearly $2,000 in property to theft
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PIXLEY — Someone broke into a South County woman’s home this weekend and stole a number of unspecified items.
The theft reportedly took place sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 4:15 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of South Maple Street in Pixley.
Erika Ceja, 23, contacted the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department at 6:50 p.m. Sunday to report the incident.
Deputies were dispatched to the reported address and discovered that someone had gained access to the home and stole miscellaneous items, the Sheriff’s Department reports. Whether the entry was forced was not specified.
Ceja estimates the value of the loss to be $1,710.
