Male minor, 15, allegedly threatened in Pixley

PIXLEY — A 17-year-old allegedly made criminal threats to a 15-year-old on Wednesday, authorities report.

The victim, whose name was not released, contacted the Pixley substation at 8:40 p.m.

The 17-year-old from Pixley allegedly made criminal threats against the victim, and implicated gang activities as a means of force to threaten the victim, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reports.

The incident allegedly occurred in the area of School Street and Court Avenue.

The suspect, whose name was not released, was later contacted at his residence, arrested and booked at the Juvenile Detention Facility on suspicion of making threats and commission of a gang crime.
