One man arrested, one outstanding in assault case

TERRA BELLA — Two men on Sunday reportedly assaulted a Terra Bella man with unknown type weapons.

The assault took place at about 7 p.m. in the area of the 23000 block of Pepper Street.

Victim Jose Machuca, 20, reported the incident at 7:30 p.m., authorities report.

South County Investigations Detectives ere called out to investigate the crime. An investigation lead to the arrest of a male juvenile out of the Terra Bella area.

The second suspect is still outstanding at this time.

This case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department. Anyone with any information regarding the case is urged to contact Detective R. Klassen at 733-6218.
