Crash leaves 5 injured, 2 seriously, near Exeter

A traffic accident Sunday on Rocky Hill Drive near Exeter left five people injured.

One of the victims may have been ejected from the vehicle as it flipped over, the Tulare County Fire Department reports.

Engine 13, Engine 11 and Battalion 1 were dispatched at 10:44 p.m. to an accident at 22600 Rocky Hill Drive. There they found one vehicle on its top with one possible victim ejected from the vehicle.

Four others were injured as well.

Two of the victims had major injuries, two had moderate injuries and one had minor injuries, the Fire Department reports.

One of the most severely injured victims was airlifted to a Fresno hospital. Three of the four remaining victims were taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta District Hospital for treatment.

The victim with minor injuries was not transported for treatment.

The names of those injured in the crash were not released.
