Man, 20, juvenile, 17, both in custody in Porterville

THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

A 20-year-old and a 17-year-old are in custody after the vehicle they were driving was searched and determined to have met the description of a suspect vehicle seen leaving a series of burglaries.

Tyler Beck, 20, and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Lindsay, were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

Porterville Police Department officers were dispatched at 11:30 p.m. to the 500 block of West Springville Avenue to investigate the alleged crime.

During the course of the investigation, detectives located several items of property believed to be stolen.

The name of the victim, a 74-year-old Porterville man, was not released.
