Alleged DUI leads to arrest

Anastacia Nunez, 22, was arrested at 12:07 a.m. today for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and for endangering her 8-month-old child.

Nunez was stopped by a police sergeant while driving near Orange Avenue and Western Street for allegedly failing to stop at a red light.

She reportedly showed signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests. Her child was also in the vehicle and was turned over to a family member.

Nunez was booked into the Tulare County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and for endangering her 8-month-old child.
