Harmony Magnet Academy•s ASB and HMA Ambassadors had the opportunity on Jan. 9 to meet with U.S. Congressman Kevin McCarthy during his visit to Harmony Magnet Academy. McCarthyÕs visit was to experience the wall-to-wall Linked Learning Academy, administrators said, and to speak to the Porterville Unified School District administrative staff, advisory board members and students. The students who met with McCarthy included Gabriela Ceballos, Seth Steen, Oscar Arroyo, Sandra Romero and Madeline Garcia, all seniors at HMA. The visit ended with a student-led tour.
