Minor injuries in Highway 65 crash

A woman and her 3-year-old passenger both sustained minor injuries in a collision Monday night at Highway 65 and Avenue 184.
According to the CHP, Diana Lopez, 37 of Porterville, was westbound on Avenue 184 at 5 p.m. when she failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with a vehicle driven by Juan Medina, 19 of Strathmore.
Lopez and her passenger, Nevaeh Lopez, 3, were both taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital with minor injuries. The CHP said the 3-year-old was not properly restrained in the vehicle. Medina was not injured.
