Living Rosary slated for Wednesday

St. Anne’s School will once again present its annual Living Rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Church, 1765 N. Newcomb Street.

During the Living Rosary service, students will represent each bead of the Rosary and recite an appropriate prayer of “Hail Mary” or “Our Father” and announce each of the mysteries that make up the recitation of the Rosary.

The Living Rosary — a tradition at St. Anne’s and is a great way for the public to participate and see the youth of the Parish professing their faith — consists of an approximate 60 students who form a human chain of prayer while the rest of the students, parents and congregation recite the prayers along with them.

“It is our belief that in this day and age, the world and our country in particular, need all our prayers,” said Richard Onsurez.

The program is free and open to the public.
