LINDSAY — Authorities on Wednesday released the name of a man found shot to death Friday in rural Lindsay.

The victim was identified as Ignacio Arredondo Lopez, 62, of Tulare.

Lopez was found dead shortly after 10 a.m. Friday as Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies were conducting a welfare check on the 7300 block of Avenue 248. An autopsy performed Monday showed Lopez died from a gunshot would to the upper body.
