One person killed, three others hospitalized in drive-by shooting

PIXLEY — Roman Pulido, 15, of Pixley, was shot and killed during a drive-be shooting Saturday.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a shots-fired call within the 800 block of Walnut Street in Pixley at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, deputies found that Pulido was fatally injured and three others were while wounded.

The three injured victims were sent to Valley hospitals where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

On Monday, an autopsy was performed on Pulido and found that he bled to death because of a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
