Suspect jailed after man found seriously injured

TIPTON — A Pixley man was arrested this weekend for allegedly trying to kill a Tipton man.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies were sent at 12:20 p.m. Saturday to the 100 block of North Burnett Road to investigate a report of an injured person lying on the ground.

Edgar Fuentes, 58, of Tipton, was transported to a local hospital and was in critical condition, the Sheriff’s Department reports.

Juan “Johnny” Munoz, 34, of Pixley, was arrested without incident and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
