LINDSAY — A case of identity theft occurred in the Lindsay area.

Maria Guadalupe Aguilar contacted Tulare County sheriff’s deputies at 2 p.m. Friday and said her information was used to rent housing without her permission.

The date and time of the crime are unknown. The case remains under investigation.
