Highway 190 near lake to get paving
Caltrans announced Wednesday that 5.2 miles of Highway 190 between Road 284 and the Tule River bridge will get a new layer of pavement this summer.
The project was one of 47 announced by the state costing a total of $347 million.
The allocations include $281 million from Proposition 1B, a transportation bond approved by voters in 2006.
The Highway 190 project is budgeted at $5.75 million.
Other projects in the Valley include $700,000 for landscaping along Highway 41 in Fresno and $10.1 million for a project on Highway 41 near Lemoore, from Hanford/Armona Road to north of Grangeville Boulevard, in Kings County.
