Helan Luevanos, left, of Pico Rivera, builds a snowman with two of her children, Daniel and Norma. The Luevanos family enjoyed the snow on Saturday, near Camp Nelson, while visiting family in Porterville.
Residents of the South County and from across the state enjoyed seasonal snow this weekend in the mountains above Porterville and Springville.
A visit to the Sequoia found families building snowmen, with some deer peering in on the human activity.
